Grand Prix Customization

Hey guys, I'm new here. I have a 2002 Grand Prix GT Coupe, and I'm coming up with some ideas for customization.
Here's a list of some things I am thinking of:
Window Tinting - 35% in the front two, and 20% in the back windows.
Weapon-R Intake (It looks great, and has good reviews)
Maybe a glasspack exhaust?

What do you guys think?

What are your goals? Aesthetics? Performance? A little bit of both? The GT is pretty limited in performance mods unless you want to talk about Top Swapping or Turbo.

Aesthically what you have listed sounds good. Glass pack exhaust would take away some of the rasp of the stock catback and slightly throatier. Other than that, it depends on your budget. You can go cheap and lightly tint tail lights, exhaust tips, grilles, etc.

Make your own intake and any exhaust is going to sounds terrible.

How would I make my own intake?
My goals are to have it look better, and unique. Along with a little performance, but I'm pretty satisfied with the performance already. I wanted a deeper sounding exhaust, but I don't want to go with a cheap "fart can" or something that is just loud and obnoxious, I like the deep sound of glasspacks.

Post some pictures of the ride, that way everybody will have a better idea(?) of what you already have and a a clearer idea how you can get there.
Personally I think same tint all round looks best.

Also, the reason for lighter tint in the front is because Michigan law says I'm only supposed to tint the top 4 inches of the front windows, but lots of people get away with the entire window tinted.

The headlights wouldn't polish, I buffed them and also tried some "Colonel Brassy" stuff that's supposed to clean up headlights, so I think I'll get new ones.

Wet sand the headlights with high grit sandpaper, polish, re seal = brand new headlights.

That's a great idea. What do you use to seal, wax?

And what would putting an aftermarket or custom air intake do to gas mileage?

In the summer it would be "better" and in the winter it would be "worse".

Summer you get "colder" air and in the winter it takes longer for the car to warm up. Give and take really.

EDIT: For the sealant there's really many of them, just look up general sealant used for headlights, many answers out there on Google and such.

This platform of car is now over 16 years old, so just about anything you can think of doing to these cars has already been done many, many times over. Taking a few minutes to do some simple searches (preferably on Google, because the search feature on this site is not nearly as good) will show you plenty of possibilities for anything you may have questions on. For example, you can find tons of video clips of almost any possible combination of exhaust both on here, and on YouTube. BTW, there's no such thing as a "deeper sound", or rumble with a GM 90° V6 (other than maybe at idle with some exhausts). I have heard and read many people CLAIM "but MINE sounds good/not that bad" time and time again only to realize the owners are delusional when I hear their exhausts for myself.

60 degree ftw.

Go read, Molly. All of these questions have been answered all over the forum a thousand times; at least.

Weapon R is for Paul Walker.

Glasspack's are for resonator replacement, not muffler choice.

If you want something unique and sound nice then make it true dual. Low end will take a hit, but sound will be so much better.
