So i thought i was saving up my money for suspension mods for my 40th, till this car came along and i just had to pick it up. It's a GP addiction for those that dont know this is my 4th gp that i have two 40th's one gtp and this gtx. Now as of now idk what the plans are with it if it is something simple to get it running good ill keep it if it requires alot of cash then maybe part out but as of now get it running good.
From what the guy told me and what i see that it has. According to him it is Stroked with JE Pistons, ported and polished heads, Ported S/C, Ported Lim, Cosmo fuel rail or zzp idk? 65 inj, Phenolic i/c if thats what its called lol, EWP, Zex dry kit, SLP Headers Catback & Rockers, Fuel Pump Rewire and maybe a bigger pump unsure and a fresh rebuilt trans unsure if it has harden parts. Enough with this time for some pics and a quick vid i took.
Thoughts, Opinions ppl? Guy said most likely its a tune issue as well as the TB sensor it needs, he wasnt the original owner it was his buddies he bought off him to finish the project but never did anything to it or had the time he had it sitting for 2 months before he sold it to me. His buddie which was the one that got all this done bought it back in 08

Nice project. Looks really dirty, needs to be cleaned top to bottom and then more pics. Then you can fix the CEL :th_laugh-lol2:

Well they did steal the stereo off it while the previous owner had it and it's missing the key fob as well as the key lock on the drivers side idk if that has to do anything with it.
The car is at my dads work and only get to see it on sat for a couple of hrs. To either work on it or work on my other engine or both a bit.
 
What year is it? The FOB wouldn't make a difference, I wouldn't think the lock cylinder on the drivers door would either. But if the radio was just removed I could see that, possibly. Some cars do strange things with radios. If its 01+ I would think something with the PK3 system, but ya never know.

It's a 2000 unsure if it's the original key I'm sure it is since it also opens the trunk with it.

Thanks that's mainly the reason of why I bought it besides the price lol
#1before I spend the money on the tune I want to know what I have and if it is really stroked or not or canned or any other goodies internal or overall can't see.#2 if I have to take apart the whole engine I will to clean it up and paint it and put a gen v on it.
#3 I will sat and maybe another vid after I wash it and clean it lol
 


It sounds more like a lifter issue to me or rod since its a loud tick like something is hitting.
