Not sure if this is the right place for this , today i took out my delco factory deck i do not have the model number right now but my car is equipped with a 12 disc cd changer and has a tape deck up front with the equalizer i was trying to install a sub woofer and an amp but as soon as i was done i went to turn on my car my radio my a/c and my center boost consul wont turn on all my buttons are illuminated but the screens are not lit at all even my tcs light still works when i push the button but that's it i checked the radio fuse and it was blown i replaced it i checked a few others but they all were ok im not sure what ive done here maybe i loosened a ground wire or something i dont know what should i do ?

Tell us how you did what you did. Then we'll suggest something like..undo what you did, cause it's no longer doing and if that does what it should do, then we'll suggest you don't do whatever it was that you did to do what you did, cause it did something wrong.

Cool?

the power button does nothing , & i set up my amp and sub woofer like any other i grounded the ground to a bolt in the trunk and the positive to the battery the only thing i did to the radio is i removed it from the dash and checked the wires with a meter to make sure i had the ground and the positive wire

im not sure why i havent even pulled my fuses under my hood yet it didnt even cross my mind , ill pull them tomorrow morning and ill come back on here to let you know what i find out thanks.

nope i figured it out i just took a few days hurricane sandy was quite the interruption but it was just a fuse under the hood got it all sorted , thanks for all the help especially
If it was the fuse in the dash, then its a fuse also under the hood, i almost threw away a $400 radio
for stating the obvious lol anyways got it back up and running again thanks
