My car is 15 years old and I had a whole new hood painted. Looks awesome. You won't be disappointed my friend.

Re: Velicity- My 98 Daytona *Update page 5 RAILS!*

Me too, looks good with the rails too. Needs to be buffed. swirl marks everywhere and tones of noticeable chips in the front. Im no longer driving on the highway.

Re: Velicity- My 98 Daytona *Update page 5 RAILS!*

the one at 3800perf uses existing deck holes i believe. Prolly the best option.

Re: Velicity- My 98 Daytona *Update page 5 RAILS!*

rails are on with 3m double sided tape. if i like them enough, maybe ill use panel bond. but ill post some pics on the chilly day

Re: Velicity- My 98 Daytona *Update page 5 RAILS!*

The rails look good.

3800 performance sells the original SLP version according to what they told me. The one on ebay is the same as what is sold by PFYC and other places. It comes pre drilled with mounting holes. I got mine from PFYC since I had some points to use there. Like you I was afraid the paint on the spoiler would not match considering I have had the car since 99. But the paint matched really good to the factory paint. Just be aware that not all the holes will line up to the trunk lid. I elongated the holes on the trunk to fit the spoiler on the ones that were not lined up.

Re: Velicity- My 98 Daytona *Update page 5 RAILS!*

Re: Velicity- My 98 Daytona *Update page 5 RAILS!*

You take the res out completely, your going to have some rasp.

The longer the glasspack, the less rasp, the quieter its going to be.

So pick your poison, Short glasspack, louder exhaust but more rasp, you just have to find a happy medium.

Find a cherrybomb or Thrush glasspack on ebay for like $35.
