Well wierd night, asked this forum on the chat before i left what rpm to launch @ people said 2000rpms, tried 2 times pulled a
15.9@88 60 ft: 2.45. then a 15.8@88mph 60 ft 2.36. bogged out bad.. not worth even posting lols.


So then I launch harder around @2500 rpms. no bog but barely a chirp

so then I took the driver side headlight out and ran 2 more times launching @3000rpms roughly.still felt like i should of launched harder but didnt want to keep going down the track as this is my DD.

I think I could of squeaked in a 15.5,Not bad for the 3 mods I Have roughly half a second of my stock qtr mile. ah a well it was a ton of fun and makes me think of plans for next year :th_biggrin2:

I know what u mean on the wierd part. I used to launch off idle or maybe 2k and all i would do is butter my tires. I now launch at 2800-3k and all i get is a few squeaks and a much harder launch.

only way i could do better 60's/1/4 mile if I was launching harder then 3000rpms which after 5 runs i was happy my tranny didnt blow up yet launching @ 3000 lol.
im right on par for the mods i have. 15.5-15.6. blue estimated 15.7 so im just happy i got .1 better :P
im thinking with new job=new turbo? see what deals winter brings.

lol you were bangon but i had to work for it, took me 5 runs lol, think if i switched to 3:69 it would help my qtr or would i be in 3rd right at then end? thinking of 3:69 and PLOG then turbo fund.
 


another thing the humidity was 85% so im thinking i could of pulled a better time if it wasnt so high. only excuse i got lol.
 
you got plog and rockers over me but no downpipe, guessing "can" tune? mine was incar, on 91 octane.
im guessing roughly the same maybe lil faster, its all in the launch. and the tune.
 
Not bad grim,whats your altitude?i feel you should be a lil quicker but you tried,good work :) tod with your mods i would say 15.0-15.2,14.9 if your lucky.We had a similar setup when i had my old car and even though i never ran it thru the 1/4 mile based on my 9.4 1/8th id be high 14's.
 


Pretty good times. If you cam it you'll shave a second off of that. I ran 14.7 with my impala on just a zzp tune to match the GT1 cam. It could have gone faster but I crashed it
 
Even with 2.93's the blue car was into 3rd gear...3.69's, ER rockers, and a PLOG with a retune...MIGHT net you 14's.
