I thought about that, but if I can locate a good Getrag 284 over the winter, that's what I prefer to use. I already have the clutch for it and all the bracketry fabricated. I don't see a point in changing at this time.

I'll put it this way...my "false knock" was hitting 16.4 on the aeroforce at light throttle at 50 MPH...on the lift the noise is similar to the idea of someone putting marbles in the trans.
 


Yeah, mine is not that bad. I'm getting 5* and only at WOT.

When you can drive this thing man, you're gonna love it!!! Very little torque steer if any. The gearing makes it incredibly torquey. The front end feels a lot lighter, too. Soo much fun to drive, and I'm still rocking a stock L36.

Hoping to add humor at least you can smile: Blue car stopped by again yesterday. 5 codes popped on a quick wot hit. Most of them need more than one time to pop/go away. All seemed electrical intermittent related. F blue cars.

I have driven it...and it is a hell of a lot of fun. The car feels sooooo much different just being a 5 speed. I did however get on it a little last night in first. Supercharger actually got to do something for the first time...front tires lit up...then I stopped being a dummy. LOL
 
Awesome! Can't wait to supercharge mine.

I've been having a hard time doing anything besides just driving it around since its been done lol.
