The site migration is complete! Hopefully everything transferred properly from the multiple decades old software we were using before. If you notice any issues please let me know, thanks! Also, I'm still working on things like chatbox, etc so hopefully those will be working in the next week or two.
if you rent a compression tester can you take the gauge off and put a quick disconnect on it to the air compressor? or rig it to the air hose some how? i seem to of heard of that before.
it may cost 40 to rent it but you get the money back when you return it, its more of a deposit, pep boys does the same deal. full refund when you bring the tool back with in 7 days.
I've apparently have an issue with my Valve Covers seeping and I'm trying to figure out if this is a cost effective job or should I just put $3500 aside and replace the whole engine? I'll post photos of the leak as soon as I can get them shot and uploaded.
What do I have to remove to get to the loooooooooooooog bolt in the case iron coil pack bracket (Motor mount bracket) the bolt that is too long for a deep socket.
This bolt is waaaay too long for my deep socket. more than 1/2 an inch. The bolt has a star like end to it. Some one suggested a sparkplug socket and use a wrench. The 3/8" bolt won't fit throug my 3/8 inch square ratchet opening. I may have to remove the tension puley for the SC.
Yeah the long one sticking out. It's in the lower left of the picture. I looked again and saw my problem. The socket won't go on because it hits the groved pully in the lower left of the picture and goes on at an angle. If I remove that pully the socket will have a straight shot at the bolt.
