I know theres plenty of nerds and fanboys out there, Let me know what you got as far as suggestions, Links to retailers etc.
I want to get a tablet. Price isnt being considered right now, just wanna get a feel for whats the best options, sometimes the cheaper ones are better. So ... Let the info begin!

windoooooooooooooooooowwwwwwwwwwwsssssssss.

Srsly.

wtf are you going to do with an apple or android tablet that you can't do on a phone?

Step one is budget, step two is OS, then look for features, then look at flaws.

Compare data and decide on compromise.

oh trust me,,, ive got a price range in mind, but dont wanna get pigeonholed by saying it.. also, i know the various OS's.. im looking for user input.

Like it doesnt need 3G, ive got a data plan and an iphone with teathering/personal hotspot

storage is nice, but not super needed, music goes on iPhone. Removable/expandable storage is nice. size is good too, nothing too small, but dont need giant, ive got a macbookpro..

You won't be able to find any 7-8" tablets with good screens/hardware specs.

Trend is moving towards 10" being the typical size.

Means more money for the same crap as a smaller one.

I picked up the iPad 3. So far I love it. My dell died and I had plenty of bestbuy gift cards so the $500 new was about $375 with taxes. I also have the iPhone 4 which I love so I'm happy

Nexus 7 is the bomb for the price. The iPad is better, but at less than half the price the nexus takes the cake for me. I haven't looked at the windows tablets yet but they looked good for how much I've looked at them.

But with you having a macbook and an iPhone, an iPad would fit right in there.

yeah the nexus 7 16gb seems to be what im leaning towards. Totally affordable as a tablet.. plus has android, could run torque app on it..
ive got lots of apple products, i enjoy them, but i like to broaden my horizons.

I really want to run torque on mine, but I don't really want to get the Bluetooth adapter yet, especially when I have HPT :p it has GPS too if you want to use it for that, you just have to look up the route before you leave.

Asus Transformer TF101, I bought it when the prime came out so it was cheaper. Hdmi, micro sd, bluetooth and one of the only tablets to have a good dock/keyboard available.
