Thinking about buying a Tablet.. Suggestions?

im watching reviews and comparison videos now.. the nexus looks pretty slick, and $250 for the 16gb version isnt too shabby at all.. i dont wanna spend a ton of money on something that my phone can already do, just bigger. So for that reason ipad is out, ill have an iphone5 iapd is same thing only bigger.

I've got a Motorola XOOM and love it. It was the first tablet to get 4.1 and runs very good on it.

I've heard good things about the Nexus 7 and of course the iPad is good but I'm not one for Apple. Over priced good products but sh1tty business practice.

what hackablity like for android? I know being open source etc its easier, but like availability of stuffs?

Im talking games, apps, etc .. what are my choices if i dont wanna pay for them LOL

Jailbreaking is key for that area.

I haven't rooted my Xoom since its fine for me in stock form but there's lots out there when you root. There's plenty of stuff for free for Android, there's even emulators for classic games but I'm not sure if you have to pay or not.

Matt pretty well hit it on the head. Pick a budget price, choose OS, then compare contrast.

I have an HP Touchpad running AOKP ICS, and don't mind it. I also have a Nexus 7 that I prefer over it anyday. The N7 fits comfortably in my hands, and overall convenient.

As for the lack of storage of the N7, I have a USB-OTG cable with a micro 32GB flash drive.

I would suggest going into a store and feeling for the size... if ya know what I mean.

Thanks aaron!

yeah im leaning towards that Nexus 7, its now just more about, modding, options etc.

Where did you get this USB set up?
