Weight Loss or Weight Gain Thread "2012"

I started taking Gnc - Gnc Pro Performance® Amp Ripped Vitapak® Program. It's got CLA in it. But damn its high priced 54.00 with my gold card. I am using their Lean Muscle Shakes currently but I might try this one.

I got down to 212.0 today. It kinda made my day. I ate liek poo the past two weekends. So i've got 17 more lbs until i reach my first goal. Then i'll decide if I want to go more. Probably will. 195 and my BMI will no longer be in the Obese category.
 


Rite Aid may have some of it, can't say everything you're looking for... But our Rite Aid's carry a large amount of GNC products.

Don't pay too much attention to BMI it's a joke. I'm considered obese even though I'm far from it. It's based solely off weight to height. Doesn't take into account lean body mass, body frame, or anything like that.
 
Had one of the more solid workouts I've had in a long time tonight. Chest and triceps and did everything to the point of failure. Still went 2 hours. Felt great.

I'm gettin there. I still have a gut though. I want that gone and until that becomes so i'm gonna keep on working on it.

Sears has a weight bench for 89.00 i'm very tempted to buy. It's a weider too.

i ran two miles yesterday in 20:29. the second mile was faster than the first by around 20 seconds. then i walked another 0.8 miles or so for 18 minutes after i was done with the 2 miler to cool down. im sore today.
 


I bet! I'm not down to a 10min mile yet i'm doing interval training. Lots o hills around my home so running up them sucks but down them is nice. I got down to 211.4 today.
 
given that i was in a little better shape i could probably handle that. i played soccer and i was a swimmer, so all really endurance sports.

i just dont care. i ran a 8:xx mile as recently as this spring sometime, though. and i did it drunk. pow.
 


Played around with my squat technique a bit due to some pain from a herniated disc in the lumbar. Not only did my squat go up 40 pounds from the adjustment, but my back feels great thanks to it. So, in summary, back injury leads to a personal record on squat.

Which disc have you herniated? I have an L4-L5 and L5-L6 herniation. On another note, started walking a lot and doing my usual bodyweight exercises, and I put on 15 pounds since the beginning of summer...LOLZ

I'm honestly not sure. I haven't gotten an MRI to find out. It hurts, and it seems to be slowly getting better, despite re-injuring it once. Pretty sure l4-l5 is the most popular one.

But I hit 13 inch biceps today :D I find that pretty significant considering that if I get one more inch of diameter, I will be half my waist size lol

i have the same issue, except not.

i have pretty small arms. i tend to carry my weight where most drunks do: my torso.
