Earned the gym nickname "Monkey" broke the school record. 25 shoulder width, palms facing away pull ups. I even went Never Back Down on that sh!t and did the last 10 bringing my head to my left hand then straight across to my right then back to the center and down.:p

Unfortunately... I am now nearly paralyzed from soreness lol stupid human body.

Going to the gym today. Turns out my skinny ass lost some weight, Im now proud to weigh 135 @ 5'11''. NOT. Im a fking scrawny ass loser. Time to shape up.

What are you guys doing to get the flat abs. I have such a jelly belly lol. I can't lose no more weight otherwise I would look like a toothpick, but my stomach area is flabby. (I lost a ton of weight last year) Let me guess, situps? I need a secret formula! lol.

Updates.

A before and after
Before, skinny, tone but 110-115 lbs.

And regarding abs, I recommend v sits and v holds. Scissor kicks, bicycles kicks, in n outs, and oblique v ups

At least you're not like me, hard stomach with loose skin covering everything.

You can do all kind of situps all day long but you'll never gain abs if you fat on your stomach. What I did to gain abs and lose fat is take Man Scorch.with Vaporize, C4,, Whey Protein, Creatine Monohydrate, Opti-Men vitamin, and Fish Oil with Omega-3, and now I have Animal Cuts also. I ran 2 miles and biked 7 every other day for cardio, lifted everyday, and did p90x Ab ripper every other day. To gain abs you can't have fat on your stomach, you need to lose that first.

Also when doing cardio, keep your heart at the "Fat loss" heart rate too. That's the heart rate where your body will shred fat the most effective. Mine was at a rate heart of 126 bpm. And finally, the biggest thing, eat healthy.

do what you gotta do, bud.

you need to gain some weight with your working out, though. you're a stick figure, heh.

staying in that "fat loss" zone is actually very hard. it's super easy to exceed that and go into the cardio area.

Not if your dedicated. your right, it is hard to stay right there but fluctuating a little isn't to bad. I stayed in between 123-129 while trying to focus on 126 the best I could. And after a few Weeks of hard work, Boom, I lost weight, and quickly.

it's harder to do running than it would be to do if you're walking at about a 3.0 mph pace on a good incline.

Wow 126bpm... I was at like 150 at a stead jog on the ellipticals, never could bring my heart rate down any... but I have a fast heart anyways. I really like my whole body build except my stomach, need to lose that "beer belly" look I have going, I drink hard liquor but most of it is fat from being active and taking a nose dive into nothing after I finished school.

I use to go to the gym and run regularly but stopped because I had nobody to go with, but I may just suck it up and start running again. Went with friends trying to bulk up, I want to lose it, not a good mix. Power lifting with them only made me get bigger. Need to focus on cardio and eating right. Need to actually use my P90x vids too, that has been money wasted so far. :th_shakinghead2:

I got loose skin. I'm really tall though. When I bend over or lay down it hangs some. I had stretch marks from being fat. Sucks. But When I stand it isn't too bad, it's just so flabby. I gotta lose that, I hate it. I have always had the stomach and love handle problem. My legs and arms are sticks...building them up tho.

Really? 126 bpm? I have to be at like 160-170 to sweat. Is that too fast? I don't feel like I'm working out at 126! I eat healthy, no junk food at all. I eat hamburger though, but still... no pop or anything.

slightly raising your heart rate just makes everything flow and work better, thus burning fat.

going beyond that into cardio works out your heart and lungs.

Bio is right on, you dont need to be out on a full sprint and sweat a ridiculous amount to burn fat.

Doing that will strengthen your heart but just moving your heart rate up to 126 or so will put your body in a mode where it will burn fat the most effectively.

A lot of people do not understand this.
