I'd say we got this motor a little warm....
After it blew, took a temp reading and it was 286* on the outside. Still smoking half hour later. We were able to get the mill outside so the shop wouldn't catch fire. We burnt up 2 motors today. Wasn't a good day back from a short vacaction.

Yeah, for about 2 hours before it blew. We learned just how far you can push a 10hp. We had the overload turned up a bit and we think that may have caused it. I took that picture and not to long after the whole motor had paint bubbling. Sucked cuz its a $650 motor.

Haha. I actually had no part in wiring or the overload. So I claim innocence. I wasn't alone back there, so I blame my bosses.

Hey now, I've actually been thinking about that. My excuse, its been to hot to send food like gooey donuts. So don't get your panties in a bunch. They will arrive when you least expect it.

Or find one in a Junk Yard or online somewhere. They are hard to find and pricey but SO worth the look IMO.
