dude im sure thats real tender and all, but when you burn your skin off to flesh, call me. thats some real pain right there.
i lost a 3x4 inch area on my thigh and a quarter size on my arm. the arm i worked through it, the thigh burn, i was out for a few days. these were work related, not dumb play time lol
that blister will come off sooner or later, when it does oh boy will it sting then, good old thin bare skin lol

when i was a kid. we would all go hang in the woods and drink and party, all under age mind you.
we soon found out the the 6 pack holders made this cool sound when burned. when the plastic dripped it made this zippppp sound, it really was cool lol we then graduated to stealing the bread trays from burger king up the road, also made the zip sound, but larger and louder. and then started to used them for wood, fire dept was on its way 30 minutes later. it was a big fire, we must have tossed 20 of them in the fire.
and i mean BIG, 50 foot high flames, thick black smoke and the trees were starting to burn lol boy we were all that dumb at some point. good times.....young and dumb.:th_shakinghead1:

thats way down south from me. im all the way up in north jersey.
burns do suck. im sure your buddy had to have skin graphs and all that good stuff, on the face is bad. i still have scares from my burns, they do shrink but still there 20 years later.

1 of my friends was an idiot playing with homemade explosives, blew off his left hand. Kid you not, nickname is now stubby because there is just a nubb where his left hand once was.
Another friend has a perma-tan on his right side due to smoking while changing a fuel pump on a car, hes not sure what actually happened, just that there was flash, heat, pain, and he woke in the hospital. Always use the buddy system when doing jobs like that.
I felt no sorrow for their idiotic burn incidents, I feel no sorrow for your finger. just a good job, you're still alive, learn and don't do it again.

i had a friend timmy who died as a result of burns. his friends grandfather had just fueled his boat, a 36 footer, jimmy and timmy had just rebuilt the engine, and it would not start up. so tim went to see what was wrong, got it to start, let the hatch cover drop closed. and BOOM! it blew up, he jumped into the hudson river to try to cool off. he had 3 rd deg burns over 80 % of his body. they had him in a drug induced coma for almost a week and then he passed.
