Especially if it wont cost you anything but fuel, brakes and tires for the next 100 K unlike a GP.

so its a 5 spd 1.6
it has a/c, a radio, working windows, and an interior
so wins over the gtp i had
plan is the make the payments and trade it in, in a year or two for a newer focus st
or maybe the fiesta st when it gets here
this was more of an economical buy rather than what i wanted
would much rather have the hatch

it does sound like a broken flex plate but i dont think he has enough mods and power to break one, if he did it must have been an old worn flexplate

Stock cars break flexplates...Just as me. I broke 2.
It could be a nasty broken flexplate, but it also sounds suspiciously like when I had a nice chunk of piston slapping between the head, and the rest of the piston.
Eitherway, It's still black, and way better on the Gas. Im looking into getting a new Cheby Sonic LTZ...we can start a super buddies awesome club of awesome buddies
