I got my washer at menards for $35 took it home and it didn't want to start once the water was in it and i noticed the switch that the door hits when it's shut was broken so i just put a ziptie on it and it's been that way for 5 years now with no problems lol. We might be getting a new washer and dryer soon and if we do i'll keep you mind.
 
$35 bucks?! That's it? Wow, I could handle that.
Used pairs on cl where $200-300. I'll have to go check the lowes in town out now.

Found out my mom has to have her gall bladder removed. Surgery is set for July 3.

This makes 3 people I know to have their gall bladder removed within the last 2 months. A good friend of mine had hers out 2 months ago. Her broher had his out 2 weeks after that. 2 kids that used to work for me had troubles with theres and were likely to have theirs removed, but I haven't talked to them since the one left on his own accord and I had to fire the other.

Brandon, if you can just find a washer for cheap...you can always let your stuff air dry. Put a line outside or hang stuff in rooms. I hardly dry any of my clothes. Plus, it'd help cut back your electric too.

That's what my uncle mike did when he lived here, there's still a line outside but I just refuse to do that. I don't iron much so I like the dryer to do the wrinkle free setting and then hang immediately. Plus you have rain and bugs. And the way I work/sleep, I usually do laundry by night.
On the flip side though, dad said he had gave his half brother a washer machine to put at his house and he has spoken of buying new sets. So he's going to ask to see if he can get it back if that's the plan. But see I only have room for one or the other, or a stacker. There's a dryer vent and such but no 220 plug.

make that 4. my grandmother just had hers taken out yesterday, she's pretty sore.
 
I'm sitting in car in grocery parking lot all the way out in no man's land waiting on my Mom. I'm parked crooked across 3 spaces because I can and not a soul is around. Some jerk in his pos rust bucket comes and parks right at my nose. Prick. I know I probably deserved it being parked like that, but seriously guy?
