2007 Grand Prix XP Build 9/20/2012 Dyno Run UPDATE!!!

Re: VIDEO!!!! 2007 Grand Prix GT XP Cam build UPDATE 3/16/11

you cant do e85 on 42.5 can you?

Also considering rebuilding bottom end. All ARP studs, ZZP 4340 H-Beam Connecting Rods, JE Forged Pistons (unsure of compression ration to go with)?

Notsureifsrs.

Waste of money, in all aspects...and no, 42.5's would probably only handle a stock car with like say, a 3.25"...after that, 60's, pump rewire...

Re: VIDEO!!!! 2007 Grand Prix GT XP Cam build UPDATE 3/16/11

so my best option would be intercooler, 60lbs injectors, smaller pulley, (e85 maybe)

Re: VIDEO!!!! 2007 Grand Prix GT XP Cam build UPDATE 3/16/11

Sure?

Don't even know what goals you have for the car.

If you have transmission problems now, just wait till you do all that crap.

Re: VIDEO!!!! 2007 Grand Prix GT XP Cam build UPDATE 3/16/11

If you go on ClubGP you can get 80s for as cheap or less than 60s.

Re: VIDEO!!!! 2007 Grand Prix GT XP Cam build UPDATE 3/16/11

Why waste the money on Forged Pistons? Just doesn't make sense to me..

Re: VIDEO!!!! 2007 Grand Prix GT XP Cam build UPDATE 3/16/11

Just get a low mile short block to swap in... don't waste 2k on internals when you will never need to do those. For the money you spend doing internals you're better off going with an ST5 turbo cam and a Z7 kit and making 500 at the tire with stock bottom end that won't break..

Re: VIDEO!!!! 2007 Grand Prix GT XP Cam build UPDATE 3/16/11

But Brian Earl Spilner used forged internals on his Supra, I don't get it.

Re: VIDEO!!!! 2007 Grand Prix GT XP Cam build UPDATE 3/16/11

Like I said in the other thread.

What mods?

What tune?
