my 05 gt vs Acura CL and a v6 challenger

was cruising on the bulevard going around 50-55 mph when this acrua CL gets up next to me, i hit it a tad bit till about 65mph and he guns it and so do i simultaneously, we stayed even for like .5 secounds then i imediatly pulled 2 - 2 1/2 car lengths, we only did one run cause he turned off, was good race, let off at around 105

2nd race was same night when the challenger saw wat was up, he guns it passed me after a few mins after the first race, then we hit a stop light, we both gun it, 0-25 mph he was about qaurter-half a car length infront of me then started pulling, he won about 2-3 car lengths till abt 65-70mph, good race but beating the challenger with my mods wasnt happening, i wanted to do a 2nd run from a 40 roll cause i might of been able to keep up better but he turned off to, both good races and both cars were stock from what i could tell, challenger may of had CAI at most but i really dont know as far as i kno it was stock
 


New Challenger's aren't as slow as they used to be...but it was probably the older V6, because the new one is rated at over 300 crank, wheeeeeee...

Acura CL, probably the 2.3 VTEC mess crap, because the 3.2 DOHC V6 woulda done a solid pewpin on ya.
 
thats y i was suprised i won vs the acura thought it woulda been faster, cause i raced a 02 TL and that thing pulled 3 lengths on me, might of stayed little more even with the challenger if we did a 40 roll or so
 
NO NO NO you have it all wrong this is gpf and that was an srt8 challenger and you killed him by 4 bus lengths. :D
 




prolly someone who wants a sporty car to save gas at the same time, or cant afford the insurence and payments of a v8 haha although i wouldnt settle for anything but a v8 when i eventually get my muscle car

You mean like a new V6 Mustang or Camaro?
 
A 3.7 mustang fresh off the lot would poop on alot of the cars on this site. These aren't the same V6 mustangs you used to laugh at in highschool.
 


yes really... theyve been pushing out 300ish horses since 03.... its one of the best v6 engines made. just look how many times the vq35 has been on wards
