OBAMA OR McCAIN?????

Stereotyping all politicians as immoral isn't a fair shot... I know plenty of them that are very honest and straight forward... It's the media that tears them apart...

How is it not a fair shot?

Im just a brainless, middle class income to them, they dont give a crap about the people, they give a crap about themselves.

Politicians are scabs, they never do what they preach they are going to do and never keep their nose in their own business.

They use us to get a vote and once they are in, all seems good and well then **** hits the fan.

A few days ago you had some bonehead neo nazis using a federal building and a military depot as target practice and planning on shooting Osama Obama.

Politicians are employed by the highest bidder.

I'm 56 years old, I've been a registered Democrat all my life, I will vote for John McCain! Obama scares me to death! You can't just excuse away his former minister and church, his extreme left wing voting record, his childhood teachings and his arrogance toward patriotism. I could vote for Democrats in the past like JFK, Truman and yes even Bill Clinton. Obama is a rock star persona with no deep convictions and the history of signing off on giveaways and higher taxes.
I know that McCain is not the perfect guy, not even close, but don't be sucked into the empty hype that is Barack Hussein Obama.;)

What are his "childhood teachings" you speak of? He went to school in Hawaii. As I said earlier, wearing a flag pin or not doesn't make you patriotic. Most politicians didn't wear them until after 9/11 - where they not patriotic until then? Do YOU wear a flag pin every day? Also, would you approach a Quaker and berate him or her for their actions when the Pledge of Allegiance is being recited?

Instead of speaking in generalities, I think those of you who are bashing any of these candidates should be presenting facts to support your statements. Otherwise you're no different then what you are protraying the people of your bashing to be... Facts...not opinions of the media or a tabloid, or newspaper... Has anyone here personally met these people??...actually sat down and talked to either of them?? Until you do, you will never know their true convictions...

Whoa, i dont think i made it to college... did i mention i went to school in a backwoods shack? lord forbid if i ever figure out what the h3ll u just said...

I fell into the whole "obama is going to change the world and end all wars" crap until I did some of my own research. A lot of my friends thought for awhile ago that if Obama got into office the war was going to stop etc. etc. etc. Then they got tired of the hype and obama picked Biden, which totally contradicted his whole "end old washington" campaign.

I'm voting for McCain becasue hes twice the patriot that obama is and because no matter what theres going to be a war and I want someone in office who knows how to fight one.

Either way everyone needs to be prepared to be dissappointed. Don't expect our country to get back on track and completely turn around. Whoever is the next president is going to have a difficult time.

he does have some good views...compared to mccain

True, but there are a lot of things McCain is much more appealing with as well.

But don't get me wrong, I'm sure as hell not picking sides. I agree with this above. Either one we get we're still royally screwed.

dont forget obama wants to give the 12 million illegal immigrants a right to citizenship.

mccain on the other hands wants to deport the 2 million illegals who have commited crimes. woot!

Deport 2 million illegal immigrants who committed crimes
There are 2 million people who are here who have committed crimes. They have to be rounded up and deported. We're all basically in agreement there are humanitarian situations. It varies with how long they've been here, et cetera. We are all committed to carrying out the mandate of the American people, which is a national security issue, which is securing the borders. That was part of the original proposal, but the American people didn't trust or have confidence in us that we would do it.

Would no longer push his own 2006 immigration proposal
Q: Your 2006 immigration proposal was much broader and included a pathway to citizenship for illegal immigrants who were already here. At this point, if your original proposal came to a vote on the Senate floor, would you vote for it?
A: No, it would not, because we know what the situation is today. So to say that that would come to the floor of the Senate, it won't. We went through various amendments which prevented that proposal. We will secure the borders first when I am president. I know how to d that. I come from a border state, where we know about building walls, and vehicle barriers, and sensors, and all of the things necessary. I will have the border state governors certify the borders are secured. Then we will move onto the other aspects of this issue, as importantly as tamper-proof biometric documents, which then, unless an employer hires someone with those documents, that employer will be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law. That will cause a lot of people to leave voluntarily.
