i have a 99 GTP with 171k miles on it i was thinking of doing the following:

Headers
3 inch cat-back Exhaust
3.6 inch pulley
FWI
Overkill PCM

along with the appropriate tsat spark plugs and s/c belt

would this damage my engine in any way, there would be some light racing as you can imagine and yes ive already read the safely modding your 3800 powered car thread

yeah catback is whack. stock catback can support a good amount of hp and still flow well.
other than that you have the basics covered. a custom tune would be the best though.
 
if you are really worried about your motor go with a 3.5 or 3.6 pulley. To run my 3.4 safely i had to run modded 1.9 rockers.
 
I have e erything done except the 3.4 and scan everyday

Waiting till I get everything.v replaced or fixed before I run more boost. So right now replacing most all the gaskets and all the motor and tranny mounts

But I have 235k on stock motor and trans

that was actually a misprint i ment 3.6'' pulley i fixed it, whats wrong with the overkill pcm? and what numbers do you think that set up will produce? i was thinking like 300hp and 350torque at the crank

no no no i want 300 crank horse power lol i was just looking for a few mods that will give me a bit of an edge but still stay knock free, do you think i can run knock free with that set up?
