not rod knock but terrible noise

Im looking for some insight on my problem with my 98 gtp. noise increases with rpm im thinking main bearings due to the fact that my flywheel or torque converter seems to be screwed up. car was accidently nuetral drop at about 3000rpms and then i had no gears available and now also have this knocking in my engine... my main questions are WHAT TO DO??? and is there any ways to know what the problem is without tearing apart the engine for a rebuild. id prefer to rebuild as opposed to junkyard swap due to the fact the top half has been redone with gaskets. i dont know if trans has issues pretty much wondering where should i start lol thank you any feedback is very helpful
 


pull the dip stick, does it sparkle with metal shavings???

Doing a full rebuild will cost you more than a junkyard motor with all the machining that you have to get done.
 
Well you prolly got more problems, but when it bought I has something goig on I traced it to pulsing injectors
 
oil looks fine but the car has only moved 3 blocks and ran only couple times since issue started yet its knocking. u think id be better off getting a junkyard motor preffebly out of a old lady buick?

what else could it be because ive heared rod knock and i dont know if thats my issue :( i hope not but if my engine is knockin am i doomed. fyi its not supercharger thats new

if ur knockin u need a new engine. If ur engine is banging and when you hit the gas it gets worse and louder its rod knock. Leave it in park and floor it until it stops :)

flexplate sounds reasonable i dont have any gears and never had and engine issues before this happened.

Realy gas it till it stops ofcourse in park itll only go to 3800rpm or so


car was accidently nuetral dropped and then wouldnt move any more. then next day notice this engine noise which ofcourse can be any of the above issues

lovely trans shop said nothing came up on trans scan but i obvouisly have some issue.. they say engine bad trans bad lol hope not
 




ur engine is done. Take another vid of you holding it bouncing it off the limiter until it stops.
