• The site migration is complete! Hopefully everything transferred properly from the multiple decades old software we were using before. If you notice any issues please let me know, thanks! Also, I'm still working on things like chatbox, etc so hopefully those will be working in the next week or two.

After I got off work from the 2nd job, I sprayed her off and filled it up with gas. And filled the washer fluid, she was apparently thirsty for fluids.

Got some progress today. Just finished buttoning it all back up. Many thanks to Dave for supplying me with the newish bumper support. I found some more rust on the underbody that I wire wheeled and sprayed a few coats of rust inhibitor on. After a day or two of curing I'll spray some undercoating on everything under there.

Re-Installed alternator bracket, alternator, coil bracket, motor mount, s/c tensioner, s/c. Going home tonite and finishing the accessories and belts, maybe the vacuum lines too. Then all that's left is the 2 fuel lines & evap line & Ill have my car back the way it was before it caught fire.

Should have did this yesterday.. Put the rebuilt/modded trans back in and button that all up. Changed the oil pan gasket, filter and filled it up with some mobile 1..drove it for the first time today..25 miles to work today. Ran like a champ. Soo happy with the new trans. Turned over 159,000 miles on my way home. Formed a coolant leak then installed
u wheels and tires.. It needs lowered..

Filled my car up with gas right before it went up 15¢ a gallon. Then my buddy came over and we did his lim gasket in about 3 hours. Not to bad for my first time.

Yesterday I gave her a wash since the weather was great and then admired my car being all clean inside and out for the first time since December when I bought the thing.

Last night I reinstalled the fuel logs, front motor mounts, stb, vacuum line, replaced broken valve cover bolts, Acc & s/c belts, spark plug wires, coolant hoses & overflow bottle, and blew 26 days worth of dust off it with an air compressor.

put new tie rods on the front because one was completely wasted so i went a head and bought both. figure if one is bad the other cant be far behind it.. after i got the new tie rods on and the steering was tight i could tell it had a bad wheel bearing. the one bad tie rod was so shot i couldnt tell the wheel bearing was bad. so looks like ill be putting one of them on tonight!! then ill align it at work tomorrow after i get off.
