Picked it up Sunday out in Tucson, AZ. Drove it back and this coming weekend, all the goodies will begin. This wont be a performance truck at all. Everything will be for looks. I dont want to mod anything in the engine b/c eventually when this motor runs out, i want to drop the 6.0l Denali motor in.


::Wish List::

-2 Tone Paint Job (Black on top and Burgundy on bottom) -OR- Deep Royal Blue color
-24in Rims (Havent Decided on what style yet)
-Front end conversion to look like the Denali/Esky (Eventually. I will play around w/the quad light setup for a while)
-I havent decided on lowering yet. I have to wait to see how it sits with the rims i want. Oh and those fender flares are coming off. I'll probably keep them but i dont want them on.
-Until I do the front end conversion, i prob will get the SS front bumper (W/the port holes like on a TBSS) and stick some aftermarket fogs deep down in the holes for a hidden fog type of look.

Oh ok Well yeah that is the look im going for. Maybe with some black rims with a red pinstripe on them. If i go Black rims, all chrome on the truck will be black. If i go chrome, it will stay chrome

THESE TRUCKS DONT DIE!!!!!!!! LOL they live forever! My uncle has a 98 that he purchased brand new and is now at 289k and still goin strong as the day he bought it. Same motor and trans. The guy had it listed for 3200 and i talked him down to 2900.

Thank You!! this definently will be fun. I needed a new project since Stacii is really not a project...LOL Now im on the fence as to who will be the DD and who will become the Garage Queen/King...

It really is!! I couldnt even find a decent one in my city. I had to drive a hour and a half to go pick this one up! But it definently is a good find. All the other ones i was looking at either were beat to **** or had a million and one miles on them.
 


Imo it needs to go up and not down.. 4" lift, 33's, and bigger fender flares :)

Naw im not going for the lifted off road look. I want moar street truck. and all that you just listed would be if i was going to do a Off Road look LOL. But thank you tho!

My buddy at work has one just like this but it's burnt orange and has 30's on it. I'll have him send me some pics tom and i'll post them up for you if you want.
 
Yeah you can post the pic! Altho i dont have money for 30's right now... but SlowNA06 is buyin me the 6.0L Denali Engine...maybe he can buy me some 30's too...lol
 
Man, if you're thinking about swapping to the Vortec 6000, skip the LQ4, swap in a L76 (came in the 07+ Suburban./Silverado/Yukon). Makes 367hp/375lbt in an aluminum block .....All grins.
