Supercharger whistling ALOT

So I was driving the Grand Prix on the highway and decided to pull off and flip around to go the other way. I slow down and while I idle the car has some noises coming from the belt area so I figure its just a sign the belts are going bad (they are glazing over). Then as I start to take off (I do it very slowly) the supercharger starts to whistle on me and just gets more and more profound until I start giving it more gas to the point where the supercharger kicks in and you can hear it real good. So I just dont know what happened but it just starts to whistle anytime you give it gas. So what sounds like the problem?

yea.. i remember i when i had a spare blower.. as i turned the pulley i heard a whistling sound... my advice.. take the sc belt off turn the pulley by hand and listen to where it comes from.. shouldnt be too hard with the car being off and no other noise to distract you

Do you have a picture of said vac line? I don't have a belt puller to remove the belt and I am not seeing any that have fallen off.

5/8 will fit but it will have a little play in it... dude invest in metric.. your entire car is metric.. dam near

Ok I got the belt off and spun the supercharger and I heard nothing from it.....now what? Did I not spin it fast enough? I turned it as fast as I could by hand. Should I borrow a friends torque wrench and run it on there?

Alright well I found the issue. I could tell you straight up but I would rather tell the whole story lol.

Anyway I walk out of work tonight and hop in my car like any other day. I start it waiting for it to start whistling and even more recently shreaking at me, when it instead just sounds normal like it would on any other day. So I sit there just laughing to myself when I hear ,squeak squeak squeak coming from the engine. So I immediately know that the belt on the supercharger is in fact in need of replacement, so I pop the hood. Take a look at the belts using my cellphone and can hear the belt squeaking from the tensioner. So I shut the hood, hop back in, and head home. As I pull in my neighborhood the squeaking had subsided so I give it a little gas and then a rattling (more of a bells jingling sound) comes from the hood. So I got home, pop the hood, and pull out my trusty phone and see the belt had slid off at the tensioner (awesome). So checking the belt it has just a little wear on the edge facing the passenger side of the vehicle. So I was thinking I should just remove the belt and then pick up a new one tomorrow and install it. Its safe to drive without the supercharger belt, right?
