Also, I'm still working on things like chatbox, etc so hopefully those will be working in the next week or two.

DNA springs... yep i said it

Also wondering if you're getting any kind of vibration or other problems, since you didnt say anything about motor mount spacers or shorter dog bones. Still no bounce since you didnt use anti-pogos?

Anyone have experience with this here?

'nother one of us Oregonians running DNA's

its funny how someone brought this up on the subaru forums and they were nearly laughed directly off the site, but on here it's okay to run $75 lowering springs.

what has the world come to?

Most people mod the w-body platform because it is cheap. When something cheap comes along most of us don't look a gift horse in the mouth. If it works it works!

im just waiting for the first set to break a spring, rust out, etc.

not a snowballs chance in hell would i trust those springs. i bet there is near to no quality control in them and the rates are way off from corner to corner.

$65 actually. Got them from a ClubGPer that demodded to stock and never put these on his car. They were brand new in box. For that price I'll take the chance, and if they break I'll get Vogtlands. Until then, it rides nice with Excel G's.

Did you ever use these with the comp G struts or just with the Excel G's

The comp g struts were shot on my car. Ha 90+ k miles on it. The comp. struts will make it a firmer ride as they're valved differently than the Excel G's. [/FONT]

why spend money on a 1" drop, if you wont even notice it?

'scuse me? I measured an inch and 3/4 drop in the front. Didn't measure the rears because it started to rain so I wanted to finish quick

Whats with all the negative people on this thread...its not your car let people mod the way they want to...its not your car so why do you even care

Thanx man! My car has 94k and the struts are still really good...rides nice and stiff still...no visible leaking...so you think the Kyb's are better then a new set of comp g struts?

We're concerned for the safety of yourself and those around you.

This. We don't want anyone to run something cheap and stupid and get themselves in a situation where they have to spend a lot more than they would have had to dish out to go with a more recommended setup. The advice is here, it's up to people to take it or leave it. Either way we don't really care :)

I understand that but if these springs have been somewhat proven to work even though they are a cheap ebay alternative like the SD headers then I guess I just don't understand the fussing...I ran expensive springs on my legacy and my buddy ran ebay springs on his wrx and to be honest his ride and handling where alot better then mine...even now like 3 years later they are still really good and have not started rusting... I guess im just saying that cheap isn't always better but sometimes when tested and proven certain cheap parts work just fine

I'd say if you can get some new comp g struts for a decent price I'd go for that. Otherwise the Excel G's are your next best choice but will be a slightly softer ride, or AGX's for an adjust to your taste kind of ride.
