pisses me off that kids get everthing handed to them. Like an 06ish grand prix. Girl on facebook just got one. It's not even a birthday present, her parents just bought it for her....what the hell. Not only the fact do these kids get everthing they want, but they brag about it, f**k them. Some of us have no choice but to work for what we get. It's not because my parents can't do it (dad just paid 14k cash for a car), but it's how my dad was raised and that's how im raised also. It doesn't bother me that I have to work for my sh*t, I'm actually proud that i work for everything I have , What bothers me is that these spoilded f_c*ing brats brag about what they got.

If a spoiled brat reads this and gets offended....i couldn't care less (<---Like how I did that? I hate when people say " I could care less", It means that you actually care. It's couldn't care less you bastards lol)

Couldn't agree more. Every prick around here has a 50,000$ truck handed to them at the age of 16. Brand new Duramax's or F-350's. And they get what ever parts they want for them
 
im 20 and never had chit handed too me.. i cant stand when the kids that get chit handed to them and they not grateful for it.. always complaining like wtf is really wrong with you
 
they can brag about what the factory sticker says but we can brag about what actually in our cars:th_king-evil: and yes i would have to agree with this it pisses me of also, and whitehead no cuz u still have to work or put ur own monies in to it but that my opinion
 
when i was growing up i paid for everything my self. my 1st car, my 1st bike. i dont want my daughter to have to work nearly as hard as i did but i dont want to hand her everything like my wife got. so we compromised. we have an 03 explorer with 150k on it. its nice and paid for. my daughter turns 16 in july so the deal is, she gets the truck. we pay the insurance. she puts gas in it, washes it, and so forth. if she doesnt have money for gas she's **** out of luck. the title stays in my name until she enrolls in college. then its hers. if she doesnt then i get the truck back and she's on her own. i thinks its a good compromise.
 


It feels good to work for what you have. I know I did. I've work to get my house and cars but that was hard, I'm 24 and just used my family of example with what not to do. That's why I hate the type of person you speak who doesn't know what money really is like
 
Soooooo...what did this girl do to piss you off? I really don't care what someones parents buy them, I think its more about their attitude about what they've gotten. If they're thankful to their parents and don't show it off then they're cool in my book.

I really don't care that she got a car...or anyone else at my school for that matter. But don't throw it in everyones face about it.
 
I cant stand it when peoples parents buy everything for them. Ive worked hard for everything i have and i hate seeing people get handed everything without working for it.
 


And it doesnt really bother me that people get $$$ things from other people. I just know when I have $1 to my name I am fine. Those people would be flipping out, popping anti depresent pills, pulling their hair out and become suicidal because they wont know how to survive. **** give me a lighter and a knife Ill do just fine in this world.
 
I paid for half of it, I pay for the majority of the gas, but with college draining me dry my parents help out. All parts I pay for, such as the replacement speaker that i need..... replacement door pin as well. I also pay for the oil changes. I am fairly spoiled I won't lie, insurance is also paid for by my parents. I work my ass off keeping it clean though, I don't go around college or to my friends giving them **** that I only paid for half of my car. Love that car to death and absolutely hate seeing people destroy or neglect perfectly good vehicles, whether they were given the vehicle or not. I take care of the things that I have been given or bought. I dont even feel that my car is worthy enough to throw in peoples faces, not to mention the fact that I hate people who do it. So in the end, yes im spoiled. But, I dont go around throwing it in other peoples faces. I work my ass off in school and get things paid for, such as gas and insurance. Now I feel like an ass......
 
I've never had any help with anything since i've been 15, I'm now 26 and have bought everything outright except for my houses and my olds aurora that i don't have anymore. I hate owing money so I pay things off as soon as i can. My wife on the other hand had everything handed to her and now thinks money grows on trees and we can buy whatever we want whenever we want it. I can't stand it so she puts stuff on her credit card and has her mom pay it off. I'm fine with that so long as i don't have to pay it.
 
i didnt have my car until my dad died. he gave it to me right before he passed away. hell, i didnt have a cell phone until my senior year in highschool. and that was mainly because of my dad being sick. i didnt pay insurance or gas. i had no job. once my dad died his credit life paid off the 5k left on the car. i pay my mom every couple months an x amount of money to cover insurance for a few months. and i obviously pay my gas and parts now.
 


This rich girl at my school tweeted, "You shouldn't park your ****ty car on the boulevard unless it cost at least $45,000." The boulevard is a street in front of our school. She drives a Mercedes G-Class ad sucks at it I might add. She doesn't have a job either. :/
 
That's one place I went wrong with my daughter, I gave her too much. She wrecked every car I gave her. Except for the brand new Chevy Cobolt, her by friend wrecked that one. Two of the cars still had temp tags on them. And now she appreciates NOTHING and says we never did anything for her.
 
thats the way my high school was. i remember being at a party in high school and watching a drunk girl drive her beemer into the mailbox and saying "dont worry, my dad will fix it" i left right then.

You said it thats why all these kids today commit suicide when someone looks at them wrong or they don't get there way
