i was thinking "maybe something is REALLY broke" but then i read the whole "if you pay even close to the amount i'll get the drive chain fixed and the body touched up" and i really had to face-palm.

It's a $2000 car with maybe 4-6k in parts tops.

I'd pay $5-6k for it depending on what condition it really is in, with the tranny fixed...

I'd pay $2k. Screw his mods. If he broke the chain he might have broken other parts or abused it. Plus it's gonna have rust.

Haha yeah. Boyfriend showed it to me last night and I had to take a double look, thought he threw in an extra 0 in there on accident.
Notice how no where in there does he say the miles that anything has?

Doesn't look like a bad car, but yeah...I wouldn't pay more than 4-5k.
And then he says at the bottom, I would help it repairs after purchase.....isn't that a big no no?
I sell used vehicles "As Is".

I felt like texting the number and telling him he is an idiot for even thinking he'd get that much.
Even if it had a turbo, it probably wouldn't touch 15k (but I could be wrong).

That's why I said if the rest of it looked okay. I mean, if I took a look at it and it was a total ****ter, yeah 2k sounds more than fair.

You should and you're right. On a 99, turbo'd I wouldn't even pay 15k. It'd have to be running 7's.

FFS I had the opportunity to buy a god damn stock car for under 10k, why would I pay 15 for a beat up 99 model year of probably one of the highest production number cars in history? -_-

Its apparent that he's never heard of KBB or sold a car before. Im not impressed with any "mod" he has listed...to me, the whole car is crap!

i text the guy to see if he wanted to part it out and he said "if you buy it you can do whatever you want with it" so i asked how much and he said 11K is the lowest he'd go cuz that's what he had in the motor alone.
