Body Colored Tails and Reverse Bar

I'd just like to get your opinion on painting your tails body color rather than tinted. I'd put one layer of tint on the exposed section of the tails and paint the remainder of each one body color. I'm also considering painting the reverse bar the same color. Here's the inspiration.

While I'm at it and have the paint in the gun/can, I'm contemplating body color grill inserts. Any thoughts or suggestions?

If you want the body colored look on the middle bar, vinyl shops have vinyl that can be painted any color, white is easy, and it can be applied to the reverse bar, and its got tiny little holes that will allow the light to shine thru it. Usually its used for car windows like tint on the outside with a banner of somesort on it... but if they could match the color that would effectively allow for a solid body colored bar instead of one with black holes in it that looks kind of tacky. Just my 2 cents.

I just saw some perf vinyl black out static clings for Cameros. I may have to stop by a sign shop soon. I'm liking the way this is going. Would having the whole rear end whited out be ugly?

Too much if you do the tails too. A cut out on the tails I think would be ok, I actually like the pictured car, but think the whole reverse bar and 3rd brake should be covered.

Here's a little photoshop version of what mine would look like with the proposed body color reverse bar and 3rd tail. I've also removed the second exhaust.

I like it. I've seen it done on both model years. The bronzemist looks nice painted.
