• The site migration is complete! Hopefully everything transferred properly from the multiple decades old software we were using before. If you notice any issues please let me know, thanks! Also, I'm still working on things like chatbox, etc so hopefully those will be working in the next week or two.

What did you do to your Car today?

I have a plug in the trans pan. At 173K when it started this last Dec 17th, it drained clutch mud and I hoped for a couple weeks to get one rebuilt. I didn't do a filter or anything except refill with a quart of Lucas and some Dex 3. That bought me a year and 20,000 miles. I built the trans and it's sitting in the corner waiting to go in. At the same time I'll fix the oil leak from either a rear main or rear cover issue. At 193,000 it still has 4th gear and we all know that in itself is a matter of time before it lets go. It's time. I have a couple weeks off, access to a heated shop that a mechanic buddy owns. It's nearly time.

Sounds like a good plan considering you are an expert mechanic. I've got 186,000 on the kids winter GP and the trans still works great, 4th gear and all. I did do a pan drop and added a bottle of lucas which helped the 3rd to 4th shift which was a little on the late side before the service. Again you have a sharp Regal!

how are you feks on 207k mile stock trans with 4th and still driving??
mine's at 108,200 and the betch slip-banged on me again today leaving a stop light.

I curse it out once in a while. Usually I'm too busy cursing traffic though. And yes, I curse traffic when I drive alone. Maybe thats weird idk.

It's ok, I do too.
I've called car bad names before when the doors don't open. But I try to be nice because I can't afford a big repair bill. Today is 1 yr of ownership day, so I was extra nice lol.

I beat the crap out of mine but the lady I got it from put 130,000 miles on it in 3 years all highway do that probably helped that it wasn't constantly changing gears.

Hmmmmm, I don't have any problems with mine. Yay go me! Lol. I also have the aux input in the same spot. Not a bad setup for $50.
