I prefer Meguires cleaner caranuba wax and/or whatever else is laying around. lol I have alot of waxes and cleaners gifted to me for presents so I just use what I have.

Looks great btw, now go do the rest of it and snap us some really clean shots.

Thanks! I plan on doing it all soon, might be a few weeks tho. I'm gonna try talking the boyfriend into going in half with me and getting the porter cable kit. I gotta try and restore the paint on the G6 too.
I thought I had a lot of waxes left but I didn't, so I figured I'd try the megiuars and I loved that stuff, cant wait to get the rest of the car done, and the new inlays put on :)

problem with cleaner wax is it takes old wax off

So, I'm contemplating getting projectors....
I know, majority of you hate them.
But I like the look.
And I don't have the skill, nor extra set of housings to try and do a retro.
Then I gotta decide on a color, I like the black ones...but nothing else on the car is black to tie it together...and clear...well thats a lot of clear going on with the white car.
The clear corners never really grew on me like I thought they would.

Also, Is it possible to just take that metal shroud out of stock housings (and then do HIDs) and that would help light output? But I'm assuming that also requires pulling the lens off the housing.

Me haz no skill to do such, or extra housing to tear apart.
I'd rather just plug and play.

Speaking of such..i searched the other day for cleangtp's retro thread and couldn't find it...did it get deleted?

I know Clean got banned, but i was looking for his write up for directions and to get a better idea...but i can't find it.

The word patience and myself don't go well together.
