• The site migration is complete! Hopefully everything transferred properly from the multiple decades old software we were using before. If you notice any issues please let me know, thanks! Also, I'm still working on things like chatbox, etc so hopefully those will be working in the next week or two.

has anyone seen this???

that sounds reasonable. idk why u guys hate so much when such a cool project is happening. if it was one of the moderators here everyone would b expecting 100-200whp gains

You're wasting your time in this thread till some results are posted.

I'm also willing to bet if your buddy said the 1900 was better you'd be singing the same tune.

I've shown the 1900 will do the same as the 1320 is his application only better yet magically the 1320 is better for reasons that are untrue.

That.... is trolling my friend.

So I think I should run an M62 now. Can I have your buddy's?

so updating a thread with progress pictures and new information is trolling? lol no wonder nick lost his cool over here you guys are ridiculous lol

Unless you have numbers to back up the build, you have a nice looking blower that may or may not work on top of that motor. Pictures are cool but they mean nothing if the project is a fail.

lotta hostility over here. imo seeing the progress of anyones build is a staple of car forums and ultimately makes the experience of a car forum more fun. if everyone just posted results there would never be anything to talk about. anyway its clear you're all just haters. be proud of your forum with 9 active members. ill head back to club gp where updates are being appreciated.

Dude, calm yourself. You don't need to get all upset. There are guys over on the other site saying the same thing these guys here are. No one is taking personal shots or anything like that. It isn't getting nasty. Just disagreeing. Slow says he thinks he can make 100whp more. People are disagreeing with that in a civil manner. I visit both forums, post on both, read both threads, and don't see how this one is any more hostile than the one over there. Lighten up a little bit dude.

Again. Why do u care soo much? Let it go man. Post up final results. Stop nut swinging for slo and acting all giddy. We get it. You guys think it's the cats ass , and honestly , everyone is skeptical. We have every reason to be. That's why we only wanna see results, cost, and requirements. Prove yourself by getting it done :) then we can all hi-five afterwards or say we told ya so

I'm certainly interested in seeing the numbers.

This, to me, is a lot like when Jay Leno modified a FWD car to make it RWD. It was a pet project and had a lot of "isn't that cool" factor.

That being said - Jay Leno has more money than brains (not an insult to his intelligence mind you) and can afford this type of project etc.

If the goal of the project is HP gain, I just think there are much more effective, proven, cheaper, more reliable, and more efficient ways of going about it.

That being said - I'm looking forward to seeing video and dyno data. But, given the trash talking back and forth, I'm not sure even dyno data will be accepted as 'real' or objective now.

Lastly - I own a GTP and love it. But, I just don't understand it as a platform for high HP. It's a front-wheel-drive automatic with a laughably bad chassis.

Seriously...is this thing running yet?

If its just a blower swap...shouldn't he be able to start it realistically without a tune?

I don't think he is to the point of starting it yet. Last I saw he posted, he just got the belt on. So I assume MAF, air intake, throttle, etc need hooked up.
