• The site migration is complete! Hopefully everything transferred properly from the multiple decades old software we were using before. If you notice any issues please let me know, thanks! Also, I'm still working on things like chatbox, etc so hopefully those will be working in the next week or two.

has anyone seen this???

Because you DD your race car right?

Yet the VE is higher on a TVS than a M90 thus more CFM output for the same input.

seems like a win-win-win to me

Dollar for dollar good luck making a SC car faster than a turbo car so whats the point here? We've been down this road before........

whats the point of having a grand prix or regal then???

It doesn't "Bolt down" just like the M90 or even work like the M90 because the rotor design and case is much different. If you wanna say they work the same because they are both made my Eaton and they are superchargers then yes they are the same. lol

they r both roots blowers. one is just better than the other.

You said nick claimed the boost levels would be lower.

Yet they'd flow more, so how much lower? if not higher?

And if they are indeed lower, then theres more reason the 1900 isn't as overkill as its continually being made out to be.

we have to see exactly how much difference there is, but boost for boost the 1320 will flow more volume. and volume for volume the boost will be lower on the 1320. either way, more power

whats the point of having a grand prix or regal then???

Never seen a Turbo 3800 ? umm yeah people can make those.............

you must have misunderstood me. your argument was that it costs too much money for how much power it makes compared to a turbo ( we havent even seen what power it makes)

so if its money per horsepower why even start with a regal or grand prix? they are money pits and wrong wheel drive!

Until something has better potential and availability of parts are better than a W body Ill keep buying them. The prices keep dropping they get good mileage are comfortable and CHEAP to fix.

Why do u care soo much? Help him get his build done, hold the camera for they dyno and then post the results. We don't need another thread full of hopes and dreams , just facts.

This. We can sit here and bench talk all day. But until slo gets something done, it doesn't mean anything.

this thread is also going to go in a bad direction if tyler keeps posting in it with his big mouth. just like the first one.

Yawn...How much longer before he's done talking and has it running?

It's been something like 2-3 months, the stated changes needed are
Adapter plate
Alt relocation
Fuel rail connection

Tough to understand what's taking so long for this to get done. Except that it's been raining one heck of a lot in the area. And even that's a BS reason.

i kno hes a grad student and is always busy with school projects. last he told me he went like 2 months without even looking at the car.

Apparently weight is a motherfvcker yet others disagree with me on that on here too! Oh well imagine that someone disagreeing no way!

Screw the out of the box ideas IMO. Buy a sawzall, and look at this guys mod list. At least 3 cars have came up in the last month that have been posting very stout numbers with limited mod lists and E85.
