For the amount of miles you are driving, I would go with Amsoil Synthetic. It lasts up to 25,000 miles and is a very high quality synthetic.

Thanks for the suggestion, despite it being rated up to 25k how often would you change this oil? Stay on the 3k schedule?

No no no haha It's expensive because it actually lasts that many miles. If you end up getting it, go at least 15,000 miles on it (25,000 if N/A)
