I was at the dragstrip(1/8th) racing my factory stock 2001 GTP and there was a 2010 V6 Camaro with paper tags racing. He couldn't break 9's to save his life. He came up to me as I was putting the headlight back in to head home. He wanted to know what I had done allowing me to run 9.1's all night. He got a little annoyed when I told him it was stock down to the airbox. I actually kinda felt bad for the guy.

damnn maybe they difficult to drive since im hearing all these whoopins about them. I guess in perfect conditions and the best driver they can crack 13's but had no idea they can range from low 14's to high 16's lol.Big gap oh well i feel good now :th_jester:

The SS with 400+chp cracks 13's... the V6, RS or base are good for 14/15s depending on driver and setup. Ive driven both, not impressed. My buddies 02 SS 6-spd has more balls with over 100k than a friends 2010 SS. They look good IMO but not a upgrade, Chevy failed with this gen Camaro.

LoL. Look, if you wanna prove that your grease lightnin, next time pick on the SS. Somehow, I see that race going a bit dif... :-) I would still take a V6 2010 in a heartbeat. Its a beautiful car, they handle great, and turn heads everywhere they go... It is what it is.
