09 camaro v6 seems slow...

...For 5.0L over 400hp is very nice! Still would take the Camaro over it though, especially when that smexy ZL1 comes out!!!
... I really hope the zl-1 redeems it, and makes it better.

The ZL-1 will be nice, no doubt but you will have to put in a class its own. Like the ZR-1 you can't compare it to any other N/A sportscar, you have to lineup the ZL-1 to the GT500 Super Snake or whatever the biggest baddest mustang is, and Im sorry to say, I would at that point, still take the Mustang.

I would say the gt500 is a more fair comparison. The super snake is supposed to be a zr-1 killer, the Camaro wouldn't even be close. The gt500 is a better comparison. But your right, it won't compare to any na sports car (well not in it's price range at least)

Too bad the Super Snake can't put any of its power to the ground...and runs 1/4 miles slower than said comparable naturally aspirated C6 Z06.

You get to a point where there is too much power. As a friend said "Too much power, not enough tire". That was said in regard to a friends nicely built C6 Z06 with several mods supporting his supercharger kit, don't know all the details except he smoked the tires at 80 and blew the doors off of us, just playing around. Been over seas in Afghanistan for the past year flying helios, came home and wanted something fun and fast, so he bought a z06 and some fun parts. :D

I'm just talking stock for stock...granted there are a few forms of the GT500 Super Snake...the final one making what...900 horse?

Which to me is just ignorant...

ZL-1 has an estimated price tag of 120,000.00 or something thats just to expensive for something that started as a camaro

Are you insane breh?

Starting base price is around fitee G's
I was reading an article in car and driver or something in a waiting room and thats what I read maybe it was some other type of modded camaro but it basicly had the same engine as the zr1 vett and it was just as fast

ah ok. These new pony cars aren't my thing I honestly know very little about them

SLP Camaro - ZL327 ZL427 ZL454 ZL465 ZL560 ZL585 ZL1

There is a tab for all the ZL options that will be available from SLP. Given its like the SS and Firehawks of the older F-bodies, built by SLP design. Tho prices aren't given anymore, there use to be an option package for a ZL kit for your 2010 Maro for 25k from SLP but that was just parts, installation would be substantially more as it was engine, suspension, int and ext mods. They have added alot more to the lineup and thusly took the prices off :(

its around 41K canadian on top of your 40K 1SS.

For that price you buy grand sport and supercharger... Cheap ZR1? I think so.

Note the ZL-1 Camaro = CTS-V.

ZR-1 is just a miracle on wheels lol. That is by far my biggest dream car. You just can't go wrong with it! ZL-1 will be very interesting to see the real specs. and see some real racing with it. I think it will be able to keep up with the GT500. As for the GT500 taking on the ZR-1? No way in hell..... :th_laugh-lol3::th_laugh-lol3:
