I feel really good about my $700 trans. I wouldn't pay 1700+ ever. If there's a guy (Dave) that knows these transmissions better than anybody else, to me that's better than any warranty.

What all are you planning on doing to the tranny?

plus i forgot to mention the Aamco that my family uses has the Fleet account with the Local cops that use the same transmission my car does.

Well...when you shell the Aamco one three times...you'll be wondering...why didn't I listen.

I doubt they will warranty a trans with your parts in it.

already asked him, ive known the owner for 3+ years

he said he can install my parts without an issue, but he told me he isn't able to tune my PCM if i change to 3.29 gears, and regardless of parts they will warranty it for 3 years (or i can pay extra for a lifetime)

So he will install my upgrades, and he will do the police rebuild (High performance clutches and whatnot)

I'd rather take a transmission that can handle the power with a small warranty than with a transmission with a lifetime warranty that'd be busted 19 times a year.

I love the trans tim king sent me. Shifts great and seems to operate flawlessly.

its going to have the same parts dave installs.

where did you get thos red and black seat covers I have been looking for something like that for a year kayakin does not have the pleats

custom made seats, not covers.

when you change your gears/chain, you have to change the VSS reluctor wheel on the diff. as well. I don't recall having to go into my PCM and edit anything...but its been a long time when I did all that...

I had Big Jeff from Intense build my transmission back in the day, (back in the day before they made their time-bomb differentials). It was one of the last ones he built before he hung it up due to health reasons. I want to say my transmission ran me $3K, worth every penny? Oh hell yes.

If I needed a transmission today...I would go to Dave myself.
