hey guys i have a 2001 gtp with a intake 3.5 pulley and tog headers custom tuned. it made 241whp but now i want more. what can i do next to get a lot of power without having to tear the whole engine apart??? i dont want to use NOS!

rockers 20hp gain, yea its very easy.

IC is more expensive but allow you to drop pulleys and then re tune, would possibly need injectors for this mod

Huh? Iirc injectors are'nt needed til about a 3.0 pulley.

I'm on a 3.2 on a stg2 I/c l67/l26 hi comp engine,i wont be doing injectors and or pump til my xp goes in so I can 3.0-2.8 pulley.
:)

It's all in the tune and correct mods.

Lol, I whooped my friends LT1 Firebird that had bolt ons with my 3.4 setup.

Rockers are a good choice if you dont plan on camming, or using a little cam with 1.7 rockers.

Could always get your S/C ported inlet/outlet and drop pulley size/retune to be cheap, and add some power.

IMO, Heads, cam, IC, then just run the belt on the hub.

his LT1 is a 97 with a stick its a lot faster than my car. i dont think there is much done to it but i know he ran like 13.6

Then hes got a decent driver mod.

To be delving into the low 13's you'd be looking at either a mild cam w/ rockers, and a baller ass tune, or Just intercool, drop pulley size and pull some timing.

"Without tearing the engine apart" I personally would not recommend anything, other than opening the top ring gap to about .025-.035, but that requires a complete teardown, wich you do not want to do, but my predictions indicate that your engine
will perform a "self mod" of tearing the top ringland of one or more pistions when the
added heat from the extra power expands the ring to the point the gap completely closes and locks the piston at TDC on the down stroke, breaking the top ringland off the piston.
