Keeping subs from sliding around?

How do you guys keep your subs from sliding around?

I have my subs in the trunk, 2, 12" in enclosure....they aren't hooked up yet. Before I hook it up I'd like to are how you guys keep it in place?

They've been all over the trunk right now.

usually weight holds em down.. if your having issues, try velcro on the base, will stick to the carpet

my box is big enough to weg on the spare tire locking thing the spins, and that and the weight keeps it in place for the most part

L brackets on both my boxes is the only way to keep em contained, that and its piece of mind that haters just cant pick it up and walk away

dont take off fast? i take off slow an hardly ever speed or make a hard or sudden brake. mine never slide around.

My never moves and its just 2 10"s

my one 12 only moves when i do a u-turn. he must drive pretty hard to make his subs move lol

I put a piece of wood the length/width of the box under the carpet then from inside the box I screwed it to the board under it. Ran a strip of metal tape from the back of my box over my amp rack which covers the center pass through and screwed it down so the box wont fall face down.

Yeah no stealing my investment either lol.

I used an adjustable cargo bar in my T-Bird.....

Might do the same in the GP, when I get around to making a new box.

That's cool and simple. I like that.

L brackets, or screw them to the floor. Trust me a couple good launches and the will be kissing your trunk lid.

wow, i never had that issue.. heavy subs hold themself down, that and they were wedged in lol

I had a box that weighed at least 175lbs and it liked to slide around a lot.

make it so big it takes up the whole thing and can't move!
worked for me

I just went out and bought some home depot super velcro and stuck it to the bottom of my box. Havent had a problem for over a year.
