I just gotta post some peeves up....if you want, you can add yours here too. Keep it clean, (and add a little humor if you can), it can really turn into a feel good thread when you get things off your chest.

People who drive the same speed as everyone else in the left lane....holding up traffic. If you want to drive 55, get over and let the ones who are on our lunch break by.

People who text while driving.

People who HAVE to pass you, and then cut you off so that they can get off at the exit....couldn't you have waited for another 2 seconds???
 


I hate people that make their problem my problem. This is a huge problem with customer service and co-workers. You need something, or have a problem with something; instead of giving me any useful information, they hit you with a barrage of "reasons" why they are not doing anything for you. I did not ask for your problems, I asked for help with my problem. If you cannot help me, say so, and point me in the direction of someone who can.

Seriously, I hate people that try to go around you in a lane that ends in 100 ft or so.

I hate when people go all the way to the end of a closed lane to move over and cause worst traffic than what's already there.

I hate when people ride my a$$ when they can clearly see there is some other donkey in front of me going slower. YEA, let me ride this guy's tail to make the one 10 cars up go faster.

I used to be a truck driver, so I hate alot of things that deal with being on the road.

Also the ones that pull out in front of you to turn into the store thats right there when they coulda just use the side entrance.

i hate when people ride your ass when there is clarly an open lane beside you. you can go the F around!! see if i dont slow down to 25mph just to piss you off then give you the bird when you go around :)

The biggest one here is that the raised the speed limit in Indiana to 70 (a couple of years ago) and everyone slowed down to about 55-65 on the highways!!!! Before the speed limit went up they were doing 70-75 makes no since to us.

Oh the other is when you are behind someone and its a no passing zone and they slow down and when its a passing zone they speed up so you can't pass!!!!
 
I hate it when people pull out in front of you, are in no hurry to get up to speed and make you slow down and there are no vehicles behind you for miles.

With regards to the brake checks. I am an avid brake checker. I assure you, ride my butt and you will get a surprise. I'll push the limits from time to time as far as driving goes, but I know how well I react to things and dont push that and dont appreciate others that do.

I was going home from work once and was in the left lane doing about 75 in a 70. A vehicle came up behind me fast, so rather than making any lane changes I stayed where I was so as not to freak him out if he had planned going around. Well he didnt. I could see he had a woman in the passenger seat and a child in the back (it was an SUV). He got so close to me I could not see his head lights. So I gave him a few seconds to either back off so I could change lanes or go around himself. Didnt happen. So I hit the brakes pretty hard for a split second. I saw the womans eyes get as big as quarters and would you believe I saw a news paper fly up from the driver as he reached with both hands to grab he wheel? Some people are just idiots. I would have moved over had he not been so close. I hate when I get held up in the left lane so I dont like doing it to anyone else but he came up so fast I didnt want to make any moves that might cause problems.
 


Brake check? You want to do it to me becuase my 4500k HID lights are too bright.....?

Have another one that just happened like 10 minutes ago. I hate it whan there are 2 turning lanes and someone is in the inside wants to turn and shoot across 3 lanes with out looking.

Your truck don't scare me, mines bigger. 18 wheeler baby.LOL!!!! Just kidding, it does look pretty intimadating. Don't drive trucks anymore because all the retards ouut there, my road rage was getting bad. I actually ran a brand new Caddy of the road for trying to pass me in a lane that was endind instead od slowing down and letting him get by. But what's the fun in that.
 
Hate it when 3 ricers hold traffic up on a 3 lane interstate all going 30mph and back them up a 1/4 mile then take off... But love it when you pass by them @ 120mph ;)

that always makes it more satisfying. i know they take like 10 mins to get lined up to. im behind them trying to hook it off for them like just go already!!
 
Just remembered this... yesterday I was on my way home and there is ALOT of construction around our house with 2 roads around us that are closed. So when I left you can only go one way down one of the roads by our house cuz a semi was towing another semi went under the bridge on HWY 30 and he smashed up 3 of the beams and they said that it was going to be closed for a month. Anyways when I left I went over the bridge and there were 2 cars coming towards me (after I went over the bridge) the road says closed but I was watching and the 2nd car turned and the other one decided to go over the bridge into on coming traffic!!! Hey idiot the sign says Do Not Enter duh!!! Then on my way home I have to get onto HWY 33 to get onto 30 there were 2 cars in front of me the first car turns and guess what it says NO LEFT TURN it turned anyways it was a Government car, then the old beat up truck that was in front of me slams on his brakes and turns to the left also in between the bericades (sp) and was driving towards on coming traffic there was a semi coming off the ramp going towards him. After I had slammed on my brakes and I had to go onto the shoulder to avoid hitting that guy I looked up and all I could see was this lawn care trucks headlights in the back window. Thank goodness I made it home!!! I really didnt think I was going to get home in one piece. Its not like the construction just started its been that way since last summer on HWY 33.
 
The people I hate are the ones when you are in traffic or are approaching slow or stopped traffic, but they feel compelled to have to get infront of you no matter.

To get one car closer to the stopped traffic? That simply boggles my mind. And here in St. Louis it an everyday/every minute common occurance.

That really pisses me off.

Next to the assbags who have to feel like they need to talk on their cellphones, but for thats for another rant :)
 
Since moving to Charlotte I have a long list LOL. Worst drivers I have ever seen. Yield here means they blow through it denying you right of way and then flip you off if you honk at them.
Next is the BIG YELLOW " LANE ENDS 1000' " sign and they wait until they run out of pavement to then get over. Same people who drive to work every day but seem to forget their exit until they are on top of it 4 lanes over.
Better yet the merge onto interstate traffic at 45 mph. Or changing lanes while braking so everyone has to jamb on the brakes.
Here in Charlotte the first time I heard the news talk about traffic backing up for mle due to an " Onlooker's Delay" I thought what the heck is that? It means people slow way down to look at something which doesnt bock traffic. IE disabled car, someone getting a ticket, a tow truck, a tire etc.
I could go on and on, the stupidity and ignorance is unreal. I want to post some of this on you tube LOL

OK one more because it just happened. Dumb a$$es who ride in the fast lane at 55mph, when you get on their butts they slam the gas and zoom off, BUT slow back down to 55mph and get pissed when you catch back up t them. Had a guy fuming at me. My cruise was a steady 65mph and he was pissed I kept catching him. WTF? Move to the right if ya want to drive slow, geeze.
