Also, I'm still working on things like chatbox, etc so hopefully those will be working in the next week or two.

Cheapest way to outrun 66 Chevelle SS in quarter mile?

^^^^ WIN

if ya aint cheatin, ya aint tryin!

read safely modding your 3800 thread to know why you do things in the order in which they are done... once you understand it, imitate it and youll scoot by that 66 before you know it...

I agree, I have read it, great thread and will continue reading. Sounds gooood.

Does your dads chevelle have radials on it now?

If so, he'll be quite a bit quicker.

Most cars had traction issues back then due to bias-ply tires.

He does have radials on it. He mentioned it would be quicker, so were looking at more of a 14 second time?

dont race up in salt lake than my fastest time with plog 3.4 pulley and exhaust was 15.2 just depends on where u are and your tune as well

Good God man... that sux... That was my best run here in Oklahoma, and I was still stock at the time and it was a humid day and people said their passes were slower than normal.

I guess it really does depend on location. I know atmosphere changes can mess with times, and heat too but that is just insane. I figure I could have squeezed out a 14.9 if it was a better day for tracking, and If I could have gotten better launches.

To the OP... follow what they say; Headers, Intake, 3.6 pulley & a Tune. And see where you sit next to that Chevelle

SSAC headers? I just don't like all the issues with them. I'm going to try and keep it under $500.
Fenderwall Intake or normal?
Why 3.6 pulley and not 3.5/3.4.
Overkill pcm.
