Cheapest way to outrun 66 Chevelle SS in quarter mile?

My dad's stock 66 Chevelle SS quarter mile time is listed as 14.4. What is the cheapest way to mod my stock 00 gp gtp to a time of less than 14.4?
 


haha, fine, guess you can't get a straight forward answer around here.

Don't think the site tells how much time a cai/headers/spark plugs/pcm picks up on the 1/4 mile

dont race up in salt lake than my fastest time with plog 3.4 pulley and exhaust was 15.2 just depends on where u are and your tune as well

yah, I hear ya. I'm in missouri so the temp/conditions can vary a good bit. Plan on staying away from nitrous but we'll see how it turns out.

1.9 rockers
headers
bad ass street tune

your basic 13 second gp

should put lengths on ur dad

slightly smaller pulley, maybe like a 3.5-3.6. A lot of guys will say 3.4-3.3 but i like doing tuning around timing, not pulley sizes.

read safely modding your 3800 thread to know why you do things in the order in which they are done... once you understand it, imitate it and youll scoot by that 66 before you know it...

thanks for the advice, I plan on putting a pic of my car up soon. The 350z is not mine, but it's a car I'd like to own a few years down the road.
