Also, I'm still working on things like chatbox, etc so hopefully those will be working in the next week or two.

Might scoop these wheels up (the 17's) for my 02 GT. I noticed the guy wrote the wheel size as 16 x 7.5 but it's just a typo, you can see the tire size in the pic and they are in fact 225/55/17

I asked for the offset, but does anyone know if these will fit properly? Spacers needed etc?

thanks!

I could be wrong but the answer to the question is in the description

"brand new core racing diablo 2 rims16 x 7.5 with nokian i3 less then 3000 km on them 225 / 55 / 17
i also have a set of street gear spyn 16 x 7.5 with yokohama ice guard used for last winter one pair has 75% other pair 95% they are tires are 225 60 16
for $900 obo or take both for $1800 obo
bolt pattern on both is 5 x 115 off of a grand prix"

send him a message again and ask if he has pictures of them on said grand prix and you should be safe then
Good lookin rims btw ;)

ya, I caught that. My question was if anyone knew the offset and if I'll need spacers or anything to fit them correctly. Also, sometimes people believe that 5x114.3 and 5x115 are the same thing. Trying to make sure these are 5x115

As I suspected, I found them on the Kal Tire website and they are only listed in 5 x 100 or 5 x 114.3

will still work

the difference is .7mm so the studs are .35mm off center when it mounts.

If you don't believe me, look thru the member rides thread and all the people running the 114.3 Mustang bullitt rims

This is why I said to ask the seller for pics on the GP so you know how it will sit, since they were previously mounted on his GP, they may stick too far out and that's why he is selling, he may just have upgraded to 18s or 19s or just needs the money, you should ask him tho for pics

I've ran mustang rims on my car for two summers now. You're more then fine with the 5x114.3 bolt pattern.

Pretty sure, if you like them, they'll be more then fine to mount on your ride.

Obviously they are 17" rims. I didn't make up the price, nobody said I need to pay him what he's asking

Anyway, the guy finally replied. The rims are a 40mm offset and 7.5" wide. My car has eibach springs, worried about rubbing if they are set too far out. It's only a 225 tire so I should be fine, but anyone who is smarter when it comes to this stuff have input?

225 is not what you need to worry about.

Its the height which is 55..

With that being said, you should be fine. 225/55 is just slighty smaller then stock tires

225/55/17 is stock size and 1200 dollars for 17's is a waste. i picked up brand new 20's for 1250. but to each thier own.

I'm not giving this guy $1200, knowing they will fit without problems I might throw him an offer for like $700
