Nope, I just know what I can handle. As long as I'm not feeling anything from the alcohol I'm driving. It takes 5-6 to get a buzz going for me.

Thats what everyone says..... with a DUI.

Once upon a time I used to get inebriated beyond belief and then stumble my way home. I stopped doing that after I came bounding home one night with black eyes, etc etc. Could have been worse. People like to have knives.

So now I enjoy drinking socially, and unsocially. Just will not venture into true bars solo....

I do my best to stay below the hangover threshold.

Isn't it a felony in Canada if you get a DUI. When I went there in '06 I found out that I shouldn't of been allowed in the country because I have a DUI. The lady at international falls never ran my ID, just asked us about potatoes and wood. But it was also 3 a.m.?

Most of the time I have 4-5 beers over a 3 hour period and the last hour not having anything. I sober up pretty quick

my friends do the STUPIDEST **** when they drink. i love it. i'm a social drinker, and i just love a good beer. i rarely get too crazy and i usually just have a blast when i drink. i am usually the one that is having the best time because i'm so relaxed and chill and i rarely have hangovers bc i don't drink too much. i know my limits and i never drive. (my uncle was killed by a drunk driver, and my younger brother is battling a DWI) that's my take on it. as long as you're smart about it, what does it hurt? it can be enjoyable, and has been proven to help heart health in moderation...

i have drank once, i had a 6 pack of mikes hard lemonade, tasted so good...and then right before i finished the 6th bottle, the truck was on its side and i was scared out of my mind...i was stupid enough to drink and drive, not only that, it was my first time drinking, and the truck had no tread on the tires, which i knew, and it had a light back end...stupidest decision of my life

I'm all about drinking, it becomes almost a way of life in the military, at least at some point during your time in service. My friends and I used to hold the "beer olympics", that was fun. Bongs and shotguns all night long, last man standing wins. Although my consumption has gone down allot, I say I still throw a few, or 12 back once or twice a month.

To those talking about how you can drink a few, and still be fine to drive. Thats cool and everything, I understand what you mean. After 3 or 4 beers, I don't feel any different at all. However that's not what you need to worry about at that point, your state's legal limit is your main concern.

i agree with that statement as well, but due to my tolerance and ability to remove contaminants from my system, you cant really say im above 0.08 BAC (supposedly like 1 beer an hour) after having a few beers in a few hours.

tonight, however, ill be much over that. honestly, i wish my friends and i had an actual BAC meter because on some of our long nights a couple of us could probably easily blow close to 0.30.

Usually after a night of drinking if I'm driving I'm a little more careful driving even though I'm fine. I live in a college town and I've almost been hit by enough drunks.

My buddy got a DUI and bought his own handheld breathalizer we all have our own tips/mouthpieces for the thing and STRONGLY encourage eachother to use it before driving... Think he said he only paid like 50 bucks for it. Just gotta wait I think 15 minutes after your last drink to get a solid reading otherwise it says your like 5 times the legal limit when your really nowhere near it.

We left because that **** went down at like 12 or 1 I think, and then me and him went back to our room, I was laying on the floor in the bathroom (still throwing up), I got in the shower and passed out on the old people seat they provide.

Woke up like 2 hours later with magma hot water spraying in my face.
