Ford mustang rims on pontiac grand prixx?!?! Bolt patern?



So you have 2 threads asking the same question?

Only .7mm of difference, if they built an engine with a .7mm difference of tolerance between rings and cylinder wall, how long do you think the motor will last? If you have a cop pull you over and said your BAL is .7 wouldn't you be dead? If chip manufactures manufactured chips that were off by .7mm on all transistor placement, do you think the chips will work?

well if 114.3 wont work, why does everyone say they will?

EDIT: is there a spacer type thing that you can put on to make them fit better?
 


I dont understand why people just cant do things the right way the first time. Stick with the original bolt pattern and there will be no problems.

You can run 114.3.. if you did a search you would've came back with plenty of pictures of cars with mustang rims, including cars like mine..

I ran 114.3 for a straight summer.. then bolted up my 115's for winter, they bolted right up. If you alternate them seasonally, I doubt you'll have a HUGE problem..
 
It .7 of a mm! How can it make a diff...?! And engine stuff is precise it has nothing to do about what im talking about. And the reason being is because i have an amazing deal on 114.3mm and not on 115mm ! That is my question . I hope they fit anyone else has sugestions why its a bad or good idea
 
it puts more stress on the studs because of the smaller diameter, but so many people have run that bolt pattern that it isn't even a guess anymore. they will fit and they will not hurt anything.
