Any tips on changing it out ? I hear theres alot of pressure and can be dangerous. Also as far as finding a replacement one without ABS, did u use the same year of the car non abs unit? Or how did u match it up to a non abs unit that worked? The brake shop made it all complex getting a correct one to make it work right.
Thx for the help !
Do you still have the car you did this to?

I just went to the junkyard and walked around looking at berettas and cavaliers from the late 80's early 90's till i found one without abs and cut cut the brake lines on it and yanked it out. To take the one out of the beretta i just unbolted it and cut the lines as close to the master cylinder as possible. There isn't any pressure on it is the pedal isn't pressed most of the time. I just used compression fittings to mate up the brake lines then (I heard your not supposed to use compression fittings but i never had a problem). I had the car for about 40,000 miles after that with no problems at all, i sold it with 230,000 miles on it.
