Pregen color ideas

I just picked up a set of nice pre-gens for a song. I was all set to clean em up and put em on stock silver...and then the mod bug came out again and I thought about painting them. I absolutely will not do black so I wanted some opinions on some colors (red, blue, etc.) to paint them. The car is a silvermist coupe, not lowered.

Here are my top colors:

red
dark blue
orange
bronze
lime

If anyone has pics of colored wheels on gp's I'd appreciate it, otherwise just tell me what you think!

None of those colors. Look into a gunmetal color or something else to offset the silvermist color of the car.

heres the thing. pregens are 16's. its gonna look funky, especially on a non-dropped car.

all of the options you listed are too JDM for this crowd. you'll never get an answer you want to hear. do whatever you want with the wheels.

Do metallic gunmetal for your car, trust me it looks awesome. I repainted both of these myself, with rattle cans

Do you have any pics of the gunmetal color on your GP. I have seen a pic of the white on white and was very set on painting my pregens white. I do like the look of the gunmetal but just not sure if I would like it enough to do it over the white.

Nope, sorry. Sold the 97 before I had a chance to finish these or even put them on the car to decide which color. They are now gonna be done in a mild gloss black to go on my black car

I'd do bronze.

The other colours would work if you had a different colour car though.

Like orange on black or white.

Ahh so hard to decide! Bronze or gunmetal are the safest choices but, as Bio pointed out, everyone is running those now to the point where any metallic color seems to be the new black. I was really digging orange but now it does seem to work better on white. Decisions decisions.
