• The site migration is complete! Hopefully everything transferred properly from the multiple decades old software we were using before. If you notice any issues please let me know, thanks! Also, I'm still working on things like chatbox, etc so hopefully those will be working in the next week or two.

ZZP fail

I had a bad transaction with zzp less than a month ago, so I posted in General on CGP and Zoomer was first to reply saying he was out of town, but would get to the bottom of it. Turns out that the valve springs I ordered were out of stock. They offered me a used set and $20 back.... That same day they came in and my order shipped within 24 hours.

I never used to be like this, but if you order from ZZP and it says its in stock, its probably not. Expect to wait a few weeks for anything you order from them.

you guys do know WBS is like....one guy? ZZP is at least a squad of dudes that should be able to handle this type of business at this point. intense is by far the most accomodating of the aftermarket dealers we have.

Yep and thats why they are doing my unlimited mod pcm for 175.00

I've had about 5 orders from ZZP, nothing bigger than a CAI, and the only problem I've had is they sent me a 160* tstat instead of 180*. I emailed them and they sent me one out the next day. Other than that shipping is expensive as a b!tch but it doesn't help I live so far away.

Looks like I either ordered the wrong item at the wrong time or I just have this kinda luck. Exactly why I dont gamble or play the lotto.

I'm not gonna sugar coat it. ZZP sucks at customer service. I was gonna have them dyno tune my car for e-85, so I emailed them and asked a few questions. Turbo tim emailed me back saying ( in so many words) I cannot just drive there on gas and put e-85 in the car for a tune????

Obviously I assumed he is trying to tell me to drive the car there on e-85 so it can be through out the system when I get there. I emailed him back to make sure b/c I didn't even know if the car would run off of straight e85

The pr!ck sent me another e-mail saying "did you read my first email"
Then he quoted his entire 2 paragraph email!! And we won't even mention how he didn't answer any of my questions. Lol

I got ahold of Ryan Carter, and he will be doing my tune now.

Fvck zzp. they can eat one, and I will never buy anything from them again

Try telling the truth next time you rant. Here is what Tim sent you:

“We could dyno the car, but keep in mind e85 isnt 85% right now, it is
> only 60% so it would be tuned for now, but when spring hits it would
> need to be redynoed because that extra 20-25% mixture has a big effect
> on the tune. Plus I would run the car just about empty of gas, and then
> put a quarter of a tank of e85 in it, and run it empty again, and then
> fill up with the e85. You cant drive a car here on gas and then just
> put e85 in to tune with.
>
> At the time of the switchover, you could install the 60# injectors and
> leave the PCM setup for the 42#s. The injector difference would get the
> tune close, just don't beat on the car until its tuned.

> I would try to keep the boost around 10psi because any more and the
> temps just get hotter, the gains can be made from the added timing and
> the fuel itself.”

Still the fact ZZP SUCKS WITH CUSTMER SERVICE!!!!!!!!

Still the fact ZZP SUCKS WITH CUSTMER SERVICE!!!!!!!!

Saying a company sucks w/o listing specifics isn't much of a point. Then when giving examples of why customer service 'sucks' if the example isn't true, how does that make an argument. Sounds more like personal bias at that point.

On top of that, most of the posts in this thread are customers saying they like ZZP and our service.

Never answer the phones! i pay for something my credit card get STOLEN bank close my account and you dont get 4 dollars and some change, then i pay that, and i go put antother order in for 209.35 and i get told it will ship same day! then I have to contact zzp and ask what the **** is going on with my order (been 3 days no tracking number or anything) and i get a message back saying u have a dispute with paypal and we cant ship MY product that I PAID FOR!!! clear enough?

I would like to know why my shipping slip from zzp says 8.25 lbs and the UPS slip says 5.4? I have ordered a lot of stuff and have only ever had one issue and it was resolved quickly, but this has me a bit upset if you are over charging to ship. If the extra little bit of money is a packaging fee i understand but state that rather than adding weight to the shipping cost.

well now that it's going to turn into one of these threads...

please feel free to contact ZZP outside of this thread to resolve your issues.
