Can u make your supercharger louder without an intake?

\
before i smoothed it out.....throttle body.....open up and say ahhhhhhhh...u can see where i had to epoxy doing this will cause a small hole to open up in the maf area of the throttle body...use jb weld to seal it up on the inside and outside of the throttle body and then port the estra away 24 hours later

Pictures would be great--I am a noob with these cars. I have always been into turbo buicks before this. Just got it a few weeks ago and trying to get it in top shape.

I don't really know what is the inlet or the outlet, so if you have pics showing this and where to carve that would be really helpful. What are the shorter bolts I would need? Do I need to get the oil at the dealer--can't get it at autozone or somewhere? I don't need to tune or cause tuning problems if I only do the supercharger without the throttle body?

Thanks again.

correct on tune and correct on oil only at dealer of zzp lookin gfor pics now of sc if anything give me an hour and ill pull min eout of the garge and post pics of new and old so you can see but it may take a while...thinkin of starting a thread on porting in the diy section

I have seen some posts on porting and how to enlarge the triangle and remove the humps, but what are the bolts you are talking about? I also don't know which is the inlet or the outlet (I don't have it off yet and have never had a blower before). An hour or so would be great. I am not tearing into it until Friday. I will be doing the LIM and figured I might as well do this while in there.

the humps at the bottom of the traingle are there cause two bolts go through them to hold the snout and rotor plate...when u remove the humps the bolts will still stick out there the humps use to be so you will cut down the effectiveness of the port if the bolts arent shorter

inlet after port sorry about my gasket still hangin there but you get the idea

unported intake for the sc...u can see the rough surface and the groove i mentioned

needle bearings inside supercharger...u dont want metal in these so protect them with tape or rags the end of the rotors fit into these

ported on top...discharge of the lim u can see that the top is opened....use your old lim gasket and gastet match/smooth these to duplicate holes in gaskets

intake of lim...ported on right this time...remove the extra metal...get a grinder for this as its a ton of metal. if you do this you will also need to cut your gaskets to match. some people recommend smoothing out the bottoms on these pics but i honestly see little benefit but i may be wrong

rotor pack far right is what goes into the needle bearings..left hand side is the plate..this is what bolts between the snout and the sc casing

I have seen some posts that you shouldn't port the intake manifold unless you are intercooled. Is that the case or is that fine on an unmodded car too? Will I also need a gasket if I pull the snout, or does it just go back together? On the inlet, do you just hog it out and smooth it over so the opening is as big as the inside? I am also not really seeing the groove.

no point really. lim is fine till you get heads/intercooler

snout is sealed with anerobic sealant

You coating was coming off anyways, METH WILL NOT HURT ROTORS THAT WHERE COATED RIGHT, the coating was coming off my stock ones before I even had meth, so I guess air eats the coating too.
