Can u make your supercharger louder without an intake?

I know this is an old post but I just wanted to update that suprise Blue was right! I was about an hour from my house and gave my car I little **** to pass I guy on the interstate and started hearing a rattle in the top end went back to my buddies shop and the supercharger locked up tight. Pulled it apart and one of the silencer ports that was closed when I put it on was completely open so I pulled the snout and rotors and it cooked one of my bearings and may have ruined my gen 3 polished case. I was able to smooth out the rotors and put them in my other ported blower case and reasemble it and it runs fine but talk about a close call! I am driving it to stl the rest of the week and hopefully I have all of the damn gremlins worked out of it! Thanks to everyone who has and will help me get this car completed!
