went to the junkyard today after work and actually for once scored some good stuff. Found a 99 Red 4 door GTP that was halfway intact and snagged the heated seat switch, the digital DIC (probably gonna sell it once I test it), the HUD unit, HUD switch, and HUD bezel. all for $25.
 


Every grand prix in the junkyard here was on fire lol. I just recently installed a head up display system on my car.. just take your time lol

might wanna edit out how much u paid for it.... when u sell ppl are gonna be like... u only paid 25 for it all...just sayin
 
well the DIC i may hold to as a spare of sell it on CL ... and the HUD is definatly going in my car once I get a chance to test them both.
 
Hey guys, I just scored at the local u-pull. last weekend was 'free parts day'. $50 gets u in, and u can take all u can carry, literally. found a 00 GTP. I picked up an M90 w/ 110k miles good coupler, car had bose sound system, so i grabbed the speakers, all the fuses and relays i could fit in my pockets, 4 almost new healight bulbs(silverstar i think), some misc sensors just in case they're still good. It wasnt easy taking all that off tho. Next may they have another, so i'm bringing a wheelbarrow!
 


junkyard by me sucks asshole. I paid $40.00 for a 4 button dic and grills :/

when i said no, he was like ok, you just have to put them back. It was like a 2 mile hike back...


They used to be good too, now i'm never going back...ever
 
I can't wait until the day I find a Grand Prix in a junkyard.

I see about half a dozen each time i go to my local pullapart, almost never ever seen a blown one or any with more than base options though. I'm dying for the day I walk in and they have a special edition one sitting there...lol

I would have dropped that sh*t on the ground right there and just walked off. What Bull sh*t.

Last time I went to Pick and Pull in STL they had like six GP's in a row. Couple were GTP's too. The lowest mile one had over 160,000 on the odo.

If I remember right, at least half of them were engine fires. :th_nervous:

As long as its dirty, they wont think its any good.

Standard Auto Wreckers in Toronto and in Niagara Falls NY. Next free parts day is May 1,2 2011. Lots of gp's there. 2GTPs that I know of.
 
True, have heard they're one of the best around here.

doesnt need to be a GTP,

park avenue ultra, regal GS, bonne SSEi.

those will all work just as well.
