• The site migration is complete! Hopefully everything transferred properly from the multiple decades old software we were using before. If you notice any issues please let me know, thanks! Also, I'm still working on things like chatbox, etc so hopefully those will be working in the next week or two.

Verizon Wireless

verizon and sprint are the only two companies to have unless youre a trend whore and go for an iphone. i get a discount on verizon through my girlfriends work (something like 23% off) so that's what we've got. we both have blackberry's and its only like $150/month for both of us for unlimited everything and 700 talking minutes (i dont talk on the phone at all).

I have verizon never had an issue with them
ive had a razor a lg env and a lg env2 and a motorola fone like the env
and now im on a droid 2 Yea cost a bit more But i got the phone for 75 bucks and I like being able to do a web search or look on here or auto sites when away from a computer PLUS tethering it to my lap top is nice

You may want look into Page Plus Wireless. I too was sick of Verizon's BS and decided to switch carriers. Page Plus uses Verizon towers so where you get signal with Verizon you get signal with Page Plus. Nearly any Verizon branded phone works on the Page Plus network. Minus the Blackberries and a few others. There is a list of compatible phones on tomshardware.com, or you could call their support line and ask. For $30 a month I get 1200 min 1200 texts and 50MB of data with no Verizon BS.

I guess Im just lucky not one issue really in 5 years with verizon I dropped att when they merged with cingular cause it all went to hell

for a while used metro pcs was good for what it was as well

i have had verizon for 5+ years as well never any issues, i try to get all my friends to switch to them.

I used to have alltel until verizon bought them out. then when my phone broke they wanted to charge me 10 bucks to change service to my back up phone, and 10 more bucks to transfer contacts. They also wanted me to file for my own replacement phone online. None of which Alltel made me do.

Last time I was in the Verizon store they explained that for the smart phones the $30 fee was manditory, they said the reasoning behind it was because too many people were "accidently" getting on the internet then complaining about the outrageous internet fees that later showed up on thir bill. They must have expanded that theory to all headsets.

That's basically what they told us. Because someone was stupid we (who have been with them since cell phones came out) have to pay a fee. What BS that is.

like stated, the chocolate touch is supposed to have the 9.99 a month data package to use it. it is kinda bs, but i dont complain cause i text alot and would need the unlimited package anyway which is the 9.99 for unlimted text and data.. cant complain. other than that i think they are awesome. i get coverage where alot of my friends dont with at&t and t-mobile

I use AT&T because of the area I am in. When I go up to my parents house, which is quite often if you have Verizon or sprint or any other network you just dont have service or one bar or roaming. So AT&T it was and yes I like to follow some trends and did get the iphone....
